Overview
The Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL) is seeking energetic and reliable interns to support our exciting 4v4 Festivals throughout the season. This is a hands-on role perfect for students or aspiring sports professionals looking to gain field experience in youth soccer operations.
Responsibilities
Assist with field setup and breakdown at 4v4 Festival locations
Greet teams, check rosters, and help manage the event flow
Support referees and coaches to keep games running on time
Ensure a fun, safe, and organized environment for all players
Help distribute festival giveaways and document standout moments
Requirements
High school student or older
Available on weekends
Strong communication and organizational skills
Interest in youth sports and event management
Must be dependable, professional, and a team player
Bonus
Community service/volunteer credit
Official CJSL gear
First-hand experience running grassroots soccer events

Overview
The Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL), the longest-running youth soccer league in the country, is looking for a motivated and connected part-time Sponsorship Sales Associate to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive new revenue through strategic brand partnerships and local sponsorships that support grassroots soccer development across New York City.
Responsibilities
Identify, contact, and pitch potential sponsors (local businesses, regional brands, national partners)
Develop custom sponsorship packages aligned with partner objectives and CJSL assets
Build and maintain sponsor relationships from first contact through contract
Collaborate with CJSL leadership to activate and deliver on sponsorship agreements
Track outreach, report on pipeline, and close deals that support CJSL programs and events
Qualifications
Proven sales experience (sports, media, or nonprofit preferred)
Confident communicator, excellent networker, and persistent closer
Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible schedule
Passion for youth sports and community development
Bonus: Familiarity with NYC youth sports landscape and bilingual skills

Monthly stipend

Overview
The Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL) is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Grant Writer to support the growth and sustainability of our programs through strategic grant funding. As the oldest youth soccer league in the United States, CJSL is expanding its reach in underserved communities, developing coaches, and improving player safety—and we’re looking for someone who can help fund that vision.
Responsibilities
Research and identify local, state, federal, and private grant opportunities aligned with CJSL’s mission
Write compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents tailored to each funder
Maintain a calendar of submission deadlines and reporting requirements
Collaborate with program staff to collect data and narratives demonstrating impact
Track grant activity, maintain records, and assist in reporting and compliance
Build and manage relationships with grant-making organizations
Qualifications
Proven experience writing and securing grant funding, preferably in youth sports, education, or nonprofit sectors
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an eye for detail
Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to work independently
Familiarity with New York-based funders a plus
Passion for equity in youth sports and community programming
