CJSL Appoints Ron Restrepo as First Director of League Club Development
The Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL) is taking a bold step forward in club support and growth. Effective Spring 2025, CJSL has created a new leadership position — Director of League Club Development — and named former League President Ron Restrepo to lead the charge.
This move is more than a title change. It reflects CJSL’s strategic commitment to strengthening every club in the league by providing hands-on support, direct resources, and guidance tailored to club operations, compliance, player development, and conflict resolution. Restrepo’s appointment was unanimously approved by the CJSL Board of Directors, with the role set for annual review to ensure it adapts to the evolving needs of CJSL’s diverse and growing membership.
A proven leader with deep roots in the CJSL community, Ron Restrepo brings extensive experience, strong relationships, and an unwavering passion for youth development to this newly created role. He wasted no time stepping into action, already connecting directly with club leaders to open new lines of communication and offer immediate support.
“It’s an honor to step into this role and continue serving the CJSL community,” Restrepo said. “My goal is to ensure every club feels supported, heard, and equipped to grow — on and off the field. I look forward to working together to build stronger clubs and a stronger league.”
CJSL remains a proudly not-for-profit, community-driven league dedicated to improving youth soccer for players of all ages and backgrounds. The creation of the Director of League Club Development position marks a major investment in the future strength of the league — and a clear signal that CJSL is serious about empowering clubs to thrive.
The future is bright for CJSL clubs — and this is just the beginning.
