CJSL Launches New Division Standards, Super Division & Club FAQ
CJSL is excited to announce the launch of two new official league resources, created directly from club feedback and AGM discussions, and designed to bring greater clarity, competitive balance, and value to all CJSL competitions.
These additions reflect CJSL’s continued commitment to listening to its members and evolving in ways that support better decision-making, stronger competition, and smoother league operations for everyone involved.
NEW: Division Levels of Play – League Standards
CJSL has launched official Division Levels of Play Standards to create clear expectations, fair competition, and defined movement between divisions. These standards strengthen the league-wide promotion and relegation framework, giving clubs a transparent pathway for advancement or realignment based on on-field performance.
Introducing the Super Division (NEW Tier): CJSL is introducing the Super Division as a new top competitive tier, providing a promotion pathway for top-performing Division 1 teams while welcoming elite teams from other high-level leagues. This allows those teams to continue competing against the same top opponents they’ve faced elsewhere—now under CJSL at a stronger value and better overall league experience.

NEW: CJSL Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)
CJSL has also launched a centralized Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A) page designed for club directors, administrators, coaches, team managers, and parents.
This resource answers the most common questions we receive each season and provides direct links to official CJSL policies, procedures, and forms, helping everyone find accurate information quickly while reducing confusion and unnecessary back-and-forth.
