CJSL Teams Shine at 2025 New York Champions Cup

The Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League proudly congratulates all the CJSL teams that qualified and competed in the 2025 New York Champions Cup, held June 21–22 at the world-class SUSA Orlin & Cohen Soccer Complex in Long Island. This elite, invitation-only event is a marquee benefit of participating in the CJSL—bringing together top-performing teams from CJSL, EDP North Atlantic (Divisions 1–3), and EDP Connecticut for one final showdown to celebrate youth soccer excellence.

Over two action-packed days, the Champions Cup delivered incredible competition with 285 goals scored across 80+ matches, including a remarkable 100 goals in the U12 division alone, a showcase of talent and attacking flair.

We proudly recognize the following CJSL clubs for earning their place at this year’s Champions Cup: ARB SC, Asphalt Green, Blau Weiss Gottschee, Brooklyn United Academy, Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club, EPC BK, French Football Academy, Long Island City Soccer Club, LS Select FC, Real Bronx FC, SK NYC SELECT, Soccer Fun for Kids, South Bronx United, Success Academy, Unique Ballers FC, Veras Soccer Academy

Participation in the Champions Cup is no small feat. To qualify, CJSL teams had to complete their full Spring 2025 schedule by June 15, with no forfeits or incomplete matches. The reward? Free registration, placement into Gold, Silver, or Bronze brackets based on level and size, and a chance to compete for honors in semifinal and final match formats.

“This is what development looks like at the highest level,” said Dimitrie Draguca, CJSL League Director. “The Champions Cup is the culmination of months of dedication and hard work. It reflects the high standards we set in the CJSL and the depth of talent in our league. Congratulations to every team that earned their place this weekend—you’re setting the bar for what youth soccer should be in New York.”

As we turn the page to the next chapter, Fall 2025 registration is now open for both CJSL and Girl’s City Soccer—our growing platform for female athletes to develop, compete, and thrive.

From U7 co-ed development to high-stakes U19 matchups, there is no better place for clubs, players, and coaches to grow than the CJSL. The road to the next Champions Cup begins now. Join the league that builds champions.
