Players are encouraged to spend at least half of the season in the same environment, as consistency is crucial for their growth and development. By adhering to these principles, the CJSL aims to support and nurture the aspirations of our players, ensuring they have the best opportunities to succeed and thrive in their soccer journeys.

Overview of the Player Movement Policy

Effective for the 2024-2025 season, the CJSL Player Movement Policy includes the following key points:

• Commitment to Clubs: Once registered in GotSport and paid for by the club, players are committed to their clubs for the entire CJSL 24/25 season, with specific exceptions.

• Player Transfers: Players may change clubs during the season if approved by CJSL and the move is made during the Open Player Transfer Window. All transfers require written communication between clubs and must adhere to CJSL guidelines.

• Special Circumstances: CJSL may grant a player's request to leave their current club and register with a different club outside of the Player Movement Period under special circumstances granted that the player is in good financial standing with their current club.
