The CJSL is taking proactive steps to address a rise in misconduct and referee abuse by calling a mandatory meeting for all clubs to reinforce the league’s Zero Tolerance Policy before U15 and older divisions begin play.

Player Transfer Window Open
Our Player Movement Guidelines emphasize the importance of stability in a player's development environment. Players are encouraged to spend at least half of the season in the same environment, as consistency is crucial for their growth and development. By adhering to these principles, the CJSL aims to support and nurture the aspirations of our players, ensuring they have the best opportunities to succeed and thrive in their soccer journeys.
Overview of the Player Movement Policy
Effective for the 2024-2025 season, the CJSL Player Movement Policy includes the following key points:
Commitment to Clubs: Once registered in GotSport and paid for by the club, players are committed to their clubs for the entire CJSL 24/25 season, with specific exceptions.
Player Transfers: Players may change clubs during the season if approved by CJSL and the move is made during the Open Player Transfer Window. All transfers require written communication between clubs and must adhere to CJSL guidelines.
Special Circumstances: CJSL may grant a player's request to leave their current club and register with a different club outside of the Player Movement Period under special circumstances granted that the player is in good financial standing with their current club.

2025 Annual General Member Meeting
The CJSL Annual General Member Meeting will take place on June 26 at GJOA, with mandatory attendance for all clubs to help shape the future of New York youth soccer.
New York Champions Cup
CJSL teams are set to compete in the 2025 NY Champions Cup this June, a premier end-of-season showdown uniting top squads from CJSL, EDP North Atlantic, and EDP Connecticut.

CJSL Registration
The Fall 2025 Registration Window for U15–U19 teams will officially close in GotSport on August 21. All teams must be fully registered and paid by the deadline to be eligible for the season.
