Ron Restrepo Appointed Executive Director of the Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League

The Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL) is pleased to announce that Ron Restrepo has been appointed Executive Director of the league.

This position is a newly created leadership role designed to complement and strengthen CJSL’s existing structure as the league continues to grow and expand its programs, competitions, and partnerships throughout the region.

Strengthening the League’s Leadership

As Executive Director, Ron Restrepo will serve as the chief executive and administrative leader of CJSL, helping guide the league’s operations, long-term planning, and strategic initiatives. He will work closely with the CJSL Board, League Director, clubs, and partners to support the continued development of the league while maintaining the high standards of organization and competition CJSL is known for.

The role was created to support the league’s expanding operations and ensure that CJSL continues to evolve while remaining aligned with its mission, bylaws, and the standards of U.S. Soccer, USYS, and ENYYSA.

A Leader with Deep CJSL Experience

Ron Restrepo brings extensive experience and a long-standing commitment to the league. He currently serves as CJSL Director of League Development and previously served as League President, where he played a key role in guiding league operations and supporting member clubs.

Throughout his years with CJSL, Ron has been closely involved in strengthening club relations, improving league structure, and supporting initiatives focused on player development and competitive balance. His deep understanding of the league and its membership makes him uniquely positioned to help guide CJSL through its next phase of growth.

Supporting the League’s Continued Growth

The Executive Director position was established to enhance league operations and provide additional leadership support as CJSL continues to expand its competitions, programs, and partnerships.

This appointment does not change the league’s existing governance structure. The CJSL Board of Directors, League Director, and league leadership will continue to operate in their current roles, with the Executive Director working collaboratively across all areas of the organization to strengthen coordination and long-term planning.

Ron Restrepo, Executive Director, shared his thoughts on the new role:
