CJSL Announces Its 2026–2028 Leadership Team

New York (NY) - June 25, 2026

The Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL) is proud to announce its 2026–2028 Leadership Team, elected by the membership during the League's Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on June 18, 2026, at Sporting Club Gjoa in Brooklyn, New York.

With more than 100 member clubs and their representatives in attendance, the AGM marked one of the largest and most significant meetings in recent league history. In addition to electing the league's leadership, member clubs approved several important initiatives that will help shape the future of CJSL.

The newly elected leadership team reflects a strong blend of experience, fresh perspectives, and a shared commitment to growing the game while providing exceptional service to our member clubs and the youth soccer community.

2026–2028 Leadership Team

The following individuals were elected by the membership to serve as CJSL's 2026–2028 Leadership Team.

Welcoming New Leadership

CJSL is pleased to welcome four outstanding leaders to its Leadership Team:

  • Ivo Mohorovic assumes the role of Treasurer, bringing extensive financial expertise and a commitment to transparency and fiscal responsibility.

  • Nadia Caballero, Zone 3 Director for the Girls Program at DUSC, joins as Recording Secretary, bringing strong leadership, extensive coaching experience, and a deep commitment to youth soccer development.

  • Yanique Newman, Founder and Director of Unique Ballers FC, joins as a Trustee, bringing a proven commitment to youth development, mentorship, and community leadership.

  • Lee Kellett, Director of Youth Soccer at SC Gjoa, joins as a Trustee, contributing extensive experience in coaching, player development, and club management. Lee holds USSF A & B Licenses and a UEFA B License.
