Final Days to Submit Your CJSL Scholarship Application – Deadline June 1

Time is running out to apply for the CJSL Emil Cohill College Scholarship, a $4,000 award given to four deserving high school seniors who’ve grown up in the CJSL community.

Each year, four high school seniors are selected during our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in June to receive this prestigious scholarship. Each recipient is awarded $1,000 per year, renewable for up to four years of college, for a total scholarship of $4,000. Recipients must provide proof of enrollment or transcripts annually to continue receiving the award.

This scholarship reflects the CJSL’s commitment to supporting not only the soccer development of our players but their educational futures as well. We encourage all eligible players to apply and showcase how their time in the CJSL has shaped their character, discipline, and drive.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a registered CJSL player for at least five (5) years

  • Must be a high school senior graduating in 2025

  • Must submit a completed application by June 1, 2025

  • Must upload a high school transcript demonstrating academic commitment

  • Must write a short essay explaining why they deserve the scholarship

The scholarship recipients will be announced and honored at the CJSL AGM in New York City on June 26, 2025.

We believe in our players, on and off the field. If you’ve dedicated yourself to your team, your academics, and your growth—we want to hear from you.
