Join the CJSL WhatsApp Group for Coaches and Club Administrators

The Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL) is proud to announce the launch of a new WhatsApp group designed exclusively for club administrators and coaches. This group serves as an essential tool to streamline communication across the league and ensure that every club has access to timely and relevant information.

As the league continues to expand its offerings like CJSL Elite Travel, the Girls’ City program, CJSL 4v4, and the Winter Tournament, it’s more important than ever that clubs stay informed and connected. The WhatsApp group will be used to share league updates, rule reminders, registration deadlines, meeting notices, events, educational opportunities, and more.

The initiative is part of a broader effort to support clubs with the tools they need to thrive, according to Ron Restrepo, CJSL’s Director of Club Development.

“This group is part of our ongoing commitment to providing the best support for our clubs,” said Ron Restrepo, Director of Club Development at the CJSL. “We want to make sure coaches and administrators have the most up-to-date information right at their fingertips so they can focus on what really matters: player development and club success.”

Restrepo, a former CJSL President, stepped into the newly created Director of Club Development role in late 2024. Since then, he has been focused on helping clubs overcome critical challenges and strengthen operations. His work has included addressing field availability conflicts, supporting best practices to prevent team withdrawals, attending disciplinary hearings related to referee abuse, and spearheading the upcoming rollout of GotSport’s TeamApp to improve scheduling and coordination.

In addition to league-wide updates, the CJSL WhatsApp group also enables better inter-club communication and collaboration, helping to build a stronger, more unified CJSL community.

To join the WhatsApp group, please contact your league representative for access details.
